The surro-baby has arrived! – Australia

No worries, mate, the baby is officially here! A massive, heartfelt congratulations to our wonderful couple from Down Under on the birth of their miracle baby in the US!

These two have that classic, laid-back Aussie spirit, but let’s be honest—this 10-month journey across the Pacific was a massive test of patience. Because the seasons and time zones are completely flipped, they spent months freezing through the winter nights in Australia, huddled around their laptop at 2 AM just to catch the live ultrasound updates from sunny America.

The minute they got the text that bub was on the way, they dropped everything, grabbed their passports, and endured that brutal long-haul flight across the equator. Today in the delivery room, when the baby let out that first big cry, Dad—who is usually the biggest joker—completely melted. He was holding this tiny human to his chest, whispering, “You’re alright, mate, you’re alright.” Mom was a crying mess but already joking about how she can’t wait to get back home to the local cafe for a proper flat white.

Right now, they’re chilled out in the hospital room, absolutely exhausted but staring at their little angel with the biggest smiles you’ve ever seen.
